The Dilemmas of Lenin – Terrorism, War,  Empire, Love, Revolution

In the centenary of the Russian Revolution, comes a biography of its architect and leader Vladimir Ilyich Lenin, a man still worshipped today  but rarely read. In 1917, as the excesses of Tsarist Russia clashed with the birth of the international labour movement, Lenin was forced to confront matters of both personal and political morality, issues that still cast a  shadow over us today.

Chaired by Gerry Foley.
