Martin Luther – Catholic Dissident

In the 500th anniversary of the act that ignited a religious wildfire across Europe comes a new biography of the man that lit the touchpaper, Martin Luther. Everyone knows how he nailed the ‘95 Theses’, or religious reform proposals, to the church door in Wittenberg (although this might be more propaganda than reality), a deliberate provocation to the all-powerful Catholic Church, which resulted in the Protestant Reformation.

Chaired by Harry Pearson.
