An unashamed love letter to the shape-shifting pop icon David Bowie,  who died in January 2016 aged just 69, by one of the country’s most respected cultural and arts commentators. The outpouring of grief and affection following Bowie’s death revealed just how highly his music  was regarded by millions across the globe. In this biography Morley  looks at how Bowie worked, played and structured his ideas, always  keeping one step ahead of himself.
