Bloodaxe Books presents: In Person: World Poets

Friday 5th May, 6:00pm - 7:15pm

Theatre, Queen’s Hall

In 2008, we welcomed Bloodaxe to the Festival with the world’s first DVD-anthology, In Person: 30 Poets. Now we are thrilled that Neil Astley, editor of Bloodaxe Books, will present a film with highlights from its sequel, In Person: World Poets, another international collaboration with film-maker Pamela Robertson-Pearce. The film presents informal, one-to-one readings, with nearly 20 of the poets reading to you in person. ‘It is as if the poet were sitting in the room with you, reading just to you.’ There will be the opportunity to ask Neil & Pamela questions at the end of the film.
