Chris Mullin – Hinterland

Saturday 6th May, 6:15pm - 7:15pm

Theatre, Queen’s Hall

All serious politicians have a hinterland worth exploring. When Chris Mullin entered parliament he’d been a war reporter and tracked down the survivors of the CIA operation in Tibet. His successful campaign to free the innocent men convicted of the IRA Birmingham pub bombings was described as ‘one of the greatest feats ever achieved by an investigative reporter’. He’s the author of three novels and three widely acclaimed volumes of diaries. These are his memoirs.
